Queen is the best movie I watched this year. It was coming on Sony today so planned to watch this again. It was a worth watch.
It shows the conservatives in which girls are raised in Indian raised in Indian Society deviod of taking their own decision on their own. They are expected to follow all the societal norms without any complain.
The story line is about a a girl raised in a conservative environment where her parents have arranged a match for her. The boys follows her in college as they get engaged.to show his love for him. He is no no handsome, smart men. He tries to control her life restricting her from dancing trying to convince that his parents will not like it. He comes from abroad after studying and feels the girl is not appropriate as he has gone modern and and the girl is too homely. He breaks his to be marriage one day before the wedding day.
The girl is utterly shattered and asks her family the permission to go on a honeymoon as she planned to go on honey to Paris and Amsterdam after her marriage with her fiance. She had already bought the tickets. Seeing her plight, her family permits her.
She lands in Paris and then Amsterdam making new friends and people on the journey who help her regain her confidence. They also make her get off her depression. She regains her confidence.
The boy sees her modern photos on facebook and suddenly the mean guy wants him back. He follows her back to Amsterdam where he sees her with few friends and objects as they are male. She meets his ex fiance in a restaurant and tell him that they will discuss their personal issues in India.
When she returns back she thanked her ex-fiance for dumping her as it gave him the opportunity to explore life and be happy on her own. It gave her a great sense of liberation and happiness to be free and to explore her life on her own.
It is one of the best movies I have watched after a long time. The story comes with a crisp story line with no unnecessary characters and Kangana is fabulous in the movie. This is one of the movies every female actress would wish, she should have done it.. Kangana comes as a winner in the movie. Probably, this film will be like by all females as it gives the sense of liberty and freedom.
