There is a new serial that I was saw this week. It was quite a different one from the regular soaps. The serial is running on STAR Plus written and produced by Ashutosh Gowarikar named "EVEREST"
The story portray a young girl Anjali, who wants to win her father's acceptance. The father wanted a son who he thought would fulfill his dream of climbing Mt. Everest. The young girl is the couple only child as her mother could not bear a second child due to medical complication while the girl was born. This leads her father to hate her as he in his mind held her responsible as after her birth her mother could not have a second child. Somehow the girl come to know about his father dream as he discussed with his friends and the girl plans to climb Everest. The story evolves around the girl willing to climb Mount Everest in order to win his father love and acceptance.
The show casts Shamata Anchan as Anjali Singh Rawat as the female lead The male leads of the show are Sahil Salathia as Arjun Sabharwal and Rohan Gandotra as Akash Joshi. The cast also includes Mohan Kapoor, Milind Gunaji, Rajat Kapoor, Manish Chudhary, Suhasini Mulay and Kishori Shahane.
I have seen some episodes and it definitely seems to have a story line and will be breather to all those who have stopped watching the regular soap opera due to saas bahu kind of drama.

Bigg Boss 8 : Monday The Nomination day
10-Nov-2014 : In Bigg Boss 8 house, Monday is often a day of surprises, fights , groupings and definitely nominations.This day marks building of new friendships and enmities.
The four nominated contestants were Puneet, Karishma, Gautam and Arya. Major elimination votes went to Karishma and Arya. The captain nominated Puneet and Arya.
There was a roti clash episode between Dimpy and Sonali. Dimpy asked Sonali to make circular roti and Sonali got hurt and asked her not to interfere in the task.
Puneet and Gautam were seen making fun of Karishma as she was no brain beauty. Later, Ali, Dimpy and Sonali were seen in hot discussion over the same roti issue.
Sonali, Dyandra, Renee were again discussing Sonali blanket episode with Gautam and making fun of Sonali and often her shifting loyalties and her style of playing the game.
Sonali and Upen were grilled on the blanket episode and Upen was seen getting upset and mentioning it was no one's business.
There was a huge dispute over the episode and Ali was being grilled by all contestant for creating friction among them. There was hot dispute between Upen and Ali over the episode. Ali was accused of double games.
Ali innovated a new word "Coolpana". He said my name is "Double Dholki" and i will repeat the same.
Big Boss gave a task that three contestant to share there heart. NIgar khan will be the new wild card entry. She was also seen seen entering bigg boss house in a clip of the next show.

Bigg Boss 8 : Sushant Divgikar is out of the house
10-Nov-2014 : Sushant Divgikar is evicted out of the house.The nominated persons is the house last week were Sonali. Ali, Sushant, Puneet, Praneet, Pritam and Gautam.
Sushant became a large hearted guy and when provoked by Salman that Karishma could have saved him , he said he still considered her as a friend inspite of what she considered her.
Earlier , as a task, Karishma and Gautam were given a chance to save a contestant from being evicted , if they agreed. Gautam picked saving a contestant instead Karishma insisted on getting back her make-up rather than saving someone.
Sushant thanked and wished everyone happiness and luck for their stay inside the house. He sang a song "Jaane Jaan Dhoondta for raha ...." in both male and female voice. Very nice song .... Wish he showed his talent while in the house,
Karishma Tanna was seen shedding tears ... were they real ??? . Sonali seemed, however, quite emotional on eviction of Sushant.

Bigg Boss 8 : Eviction Night
09-Nov-2014 : The bigg boss 8 eviction day is always eventful. Salman took good humor at Karishma Tanna. Karishma had chosen make up over relieving Sushant from sevak role so she eventually proved that make up was more important over relieving someone from sevak role or saving some from nomination. :)-
He also take a dig at Puneet Issar for the violence issue. The violence was definitely wrong and Puneet should not have been in the house.

Bigg Boss : Dimpy Ganguly and Renee Dhenyani new Entrants in the house
Dimpy Ganguly and Renee Dhyani are the new wild card entrants on Bigg Boss. The Bigg Boss show going slow and not so spicy as the contestant are not so loud.
Bigg Boss as per format has made two new candidates enter in the house to spice the show.
Dimpy Ganguly is the estranged wife of Rahul Mahajan. They married in 2009 on realty show "Rahul Duhaniya le jayega" and have filed fur divorce in May 2014.She will mark her new journey through the show.
Renee Dhyani was a contestant on Roadies season 8 , 2011. She was 4th last votes out of the show. She was a very loud contestant on the show.
Both will be adding spice and glamour to the show.

Bigg Boss 8 : Puneet Issar back in the house
Puneet Issar was evicted from Bigg Boss 8 house. Now, he is back in the house.
Bigg Boss evicted Puneet because of his violent behavior, which was against the Big Boss house rules. he made a re-entry into the bigg boss show yesterday. Puneet was seen living locked up in a jail. The housemates greeted Puneet, but he showed remorse in his eyes and felt sorry for his actions. When the housemates realize that
Puneet is back, they rush towards the jail to get a glimpse of him,
His friends Gautam, Pritam, Praneet and Sonali’s were very happy to see him back while
Karishma, Diandra and Sushant didn't looked happy about the events.
Aarya’s seemed quite un-happy about his return and went to bis boss to complain. But, Big Boss convinced him to rethink on his decision. Bigg Boss announces to
the contestants that Puneet is being given one more chance to be in the
house because his intentions were not as negative as perceived and probably he made a mistake ans was punished for his folly.
Bigg
Boss further elaborates that Puneet will continue to live in the jail
and will not be able to avail of any of the house’s luxuries.

BIGG BOSS 8 : "Mirror Mirror on the wall , Who is the fairest of all ? ... Karishma Tanna
Real beauty lies not in the physical appearance, but in the heart. This statement truly made in it way in Big Boss.
The true character of Karishma Tanna was unfolded in the Big Boss house. You all must have heard the story in your of "Snowwhite" in your child hood . Somehow, "Tanna" reminded me of the ugly queen.
Here , the story un-folds. Gautam and Karishma were called in the confession room. They were to choose amongst ten options given by Bigg Boss. There were given "Yes" and "No" cards which they had to show during the task for answering a question. Both of them are blindfolded in the task . If answers of both of them were in agreement, the option was granted. They could be granted the three wishes as per the agreement.
At one point, Bigg Boss asked the two of them if they want Karishma’s make-up back followed by Daindra’s make-up. Gautam says no for both of them and Karishma says otherwise, which was probably expected by the housemates who were watching the game. But things took a interesting turn when Bigg Boss asked if they would want to relieve Sushant from his sevak role.
Gautam choose ‘yes’ option while Karishma claims to be a good friend of Sushant’s chose ‘No’. This lead housemates in a shock state. Also. on saving someone from a nomination, Gautam choose ‘yes’ option and Karishma chooses a "No" option.
As they agreed only on one option while being blind-folded, Big Boss later gave an option to select later an option which is agreeable to both of them. Surprisingly, Gautam chooses to relieve Gautam of sevak role or save someone from nomination which Karishma does not agree initially. She argues hughely with Gautam about getting her make-up and tell that is her top priority. Gautam tries to explain Kaishma that they should rather try saving Sushant than get her make-up back. Karishma who is in no mood to listen, just lashes out on Gautam stating that, he is a very ugly person who first convinced her to give up her make-up for Puneet and now when there is a chance to get it back he betrayed her. Karishma literally shouts at Gautam further saying that, she doesn’t want to sit beside Gautam and that she doesn’t care about anything but her make-up. As Gautam does not agree on the make-up choice , she finally chooses to save Sushant.
The whole house see the real colors of Karishma as self-centered and selfish. All house mates feels that she was not right and that she should have saved Sushant . Upen also told Karishma that if she wanted to look good, saying yes for saving Sushant could have made her look great.
She come with a unique strategy that she did not save Sushant as Minisha, to whom she hardly talked, gave her the sevak role because of some reason. Then , she says , it is a game show and she does not want to look ugly.

Big Boss 8 : Salman and Parineeti Act : Was it Required : Cheap Entertainment
Last week , contestants Upen Patel and Sonali Raut were talking under a blanket after the lights had gone out for the day. Another contestant, Ali Quli Mirza was also having conservation with both the fellow contestants.
Ali was then accused by fellow contestant Sonali of inappropriately touching her knee under the blanket. She confessed that he was not even a close friend of her and such kind of behavior was not at all acceptable. All the other contestants stood up for Sonali. “Bigg Boss” called both the contestant to confession and heard theor version of the story. Also, Big Boss decided to take away Ali’s captaincy and nominated him for next week’s elimination. He has also been banned from all future captaincies.
This week however, Salman Khan and Parineeti Chopra decided to play a prank on Ali. Parineeti, along with her costars from Kill Dill, Ranveer Singh and Ali Zafar, entered the “Bigg Boss” house to promote their film. After the games, they all decided to dance to old Govinda songs as he too stars in the movie. Suddenly, within the dance Parineeti accused Ali of touching her inappropriately. Ali responded that he didn't. She took an escape route and exited the show with her costars immediately, leaving the housemates in confusion. Ali also voiced that he was not involved in any such activity and threaten to cross the house wall and leave the show.
Outside, the stars of Kill Dill then joined Salman Khan and Govinda on stage where he was busy voicing his disappointment of Ali’s behaviour with the women guest of the house. The contestant were in utter confusion.
After keeping the confusion for a while, Salman and Parineeti started laughing at the prank.
Was this prank required for publicity or making show interesting. This clearly show how insensitive are we to sensitive issues like women harassment. Shame on the makers and the actors who participated in the prank. They made fun of the whole issue. It is a real disappointment . Can't they find better creative ways to entertain the audience ???

The BigBoss Season 8 : Karishma Tanna : A pretty face is nothing if you have a ugly heart
I have been watching some episodes of big boss now and one contestant has caught my attention. The contestant is Karishma Tanna.
No doubt a pretty face but as the heading says i found her "A pretty face with an ugly heart". Why ??
I watched last episode when Big Boss called her and she was asked to perform some tasks so she can save herself from nomination. She performed the tasks with all lies although intelligently, i should agree. She readily gave half ration of the home to save herself. Moreover, she also made mother promise to make other contestant believe that if they did not do the task they will be nominated.
Howver, when she completed her task and Puneet had to take her phone to a new task, she was not even ready to keep her make up box. She knew that if she kept the box, Puneet will be nominated, something it seemed she wanted.
Everyone nominates other contestant when asked in Big Boss. But, intentionally trying to nominate someone without a valid reason and something that is not costing you anything is surely a matter with an ugly heart.
The second day also, when she was asked to take off her make up for the Saturday show to save any contestant , she blatantly refuse. This shows she intentionally wanted someone should be out. Why save someone......

Bollywood superstar Hrithik Roshan and his estranged wife Sussanne Khan have finally parted away. They have finally been granted divorce by the Bandra court.
Hrithik Roshan and Sussanne who have been staying apart from almost a year. Both the families tried hard to resolve the matter. But it seems the efforts failed.The temperamental differences had made it impossible for them to live together. They had filed for divorce few months back.
